An F-16C crashed in a remote desert area near Trona in Southern California during a training mission on Wednesday, December 3. The pilot safely ejected and was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, reports say.

A small plane crashed in San Diego's Murphy Canyon neighborhood near Tierrasanta early Thursday morning, May 22, sparking fires in multiple homes and vehicles.
